Company Name: Educational Development Corporation Educational Development Corporation (“EDC” or the “Company”), a Delaware corporation with its principal office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the exclusive trade publisher of a line of children’s books produced in the United Kingdom by Usborne Publishing Limited (“Usborne”). The Company was incorporated on August 23, 1965. The Company’s original corporate name was Tutor Tapes International Corporation of Delaware. Its name was changed to International Teaching Tapes, Inc. on November 24, 1965, and changed again to the present name on June 24, 1968. During Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2005 the Company operated two divisions: Home Business Division (“Usborne Books at Home” or “UBAH”) and Publishing Division. The Home Business Division distributes books through independent consultants who hold book showings in individual homes, and through book fairs, direct sales and Internet sales. The Home Business Division also distributes these titles to school and public libraries.
