Hastings Entertainment, Inc. is a leading multimedia entertainment retailer. We operate entertainment superstores that sell, trade, and rent various home entertainment products, including books, music, software, periodicals, new and used CDs, DVDs, books, video games and videocassettes, video game consoles and DVD players. As of March 31, 2005, we operated 153 superstores in small- to medium-sized markets located in 20 states, primarily in the Western and Midwestern United States. We also operate a multimedia entertainment e-commerce Web site offering a broad selection of books, music, software, videocassettes, video games and DVDs.
