1. ) Debt securities issued by governments and companies as a means of raising capita lwhich generally entitle the holder to a fixed-rate of interest during their life and repayment of the amount of the bond at maturity.

2. ) Medium to long-term debt securities that pay a regular coupon and are redeemed at face value at a fixed maturity date.
