Definition(s) for BULL:


1. ) An individual or investor with a positive or optimistic outlook for the general market, a market segment or industry, or for particular stocks (e.g., a Coca-Cola bull).

2. ) Someone who thinks that market prices will go up or excell forward.

3. ) For generations, bulls and bears on Wall Street have referred to two decidedly different types of investors - the bulls being those who expect stock prices to rise, the bears being those who believe prices are about to decline.

4. ) An investor who buys a security in the hope of selling it at a higher price, as he thinks the market will go up. A bull market is a rising market in which bulls would prosper.
