Definition(s) for EUROBOND:


1. ) a dollar denominated bond sold to investors outside the United States. These securities permit buyers to benefit, or lose, from variations in the currency exchange rates. A Eurodollar bond is an example of a Eurobond. May also refer to bonds issued and traded outside the country whose currency they are denominated in, and outside the regulations of a single country; generally bonds issued by a non-European company for sale in Europe. Also called global bonds.

2. ) An interest-bearing security issued across national borders, often in a currency other than that of the issuer's home country.
