Member banks coordinate banking industry supervision through the Bank for International Settlements and monetary policy through the International Monetary Fund. Founding members are central bank from Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
