Definition(s) for TRANSFER:


1. ) refers to a change of ownership from one individual or party to another.

2. ) The legal change in ownership after the sale of a security. This task may involve the physical delivery of a stock certificate or the change of ownership on the books of the corporation by the transfer agent.

3. ) To convey or shift from one person or place to another.

4. ) The form signed by the seller of a security authorising the company to remove his/her name form the register, and substitute that ofthe buyer.

5. ) Any direct or indirect transfer or sale of any Ownership Interest in a Residual Certificate.
